First research fund granted

EMDP Lab received its first research fund from the National Research Foundation of Korea under grant number RS-2025-00523249, marking an important early step in the lab's operating base.

Team growth

New members are arriving

Onboarding activity indicates the lab has active mentorship capacity and a research environment that is still being built in real time.

Funded work

Projects have institutional support

Funding matters because it stabilizes equipment access, project continuity, and the pace at which students can make progress.

Hands-on entry

Internships are a real gateway

The internship record suggests that new researchers can start contributing quickly when the lab structure is direct and practical.

Join at the right moment

The lab is still early enough to build with it

The current phase is a good one for students who want direct contact with the PI and the chance to shape the lab's technical culture as it grows.
