Recent milestones

April 2026
EMDP Lab joined the mountain hiking event organized by the department in April 2026. It was a good chance for the team to spend time together outdoors and build stronger connections beyond the lab.

March 28, 2026
EMDP Lab held its Open Lab event on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Visitors were welcomed into the lab space to see the research environment, facilities, and ongoing work of the group.

March 2026
EMDP Lab welcomed three new student members in March 2026. Jihyun Yu and In Ja Park joined the integrated PhD track, and Junhyeong Seo joined the master's course, strengthening the lab's momentum in materials design, process development, and experimental execution.

Fall 2025
Negasi Teklay Weldesemat joined the lab as a PhD candidate for the Fall 2025 semester. His work will focus on deep learning-based material exploration and related electronic materials questions.

Summer 2025
The summer internship period concluded successfully, with participants contributing to setup work and generating meaningful early data for the lab.

EMDP Lab received its first research fund from the National Research Foundation of Korea under grant number RS-2025-00523249, marking an important early step in the lab's operating base.
